Sausage and Pasta Saute

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg smoked sausages
  • 1 pkg (16 ounces) uncooked mostaccioli noodles
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli pieces
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated romano or parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

1. Cut sausage into 1/2" slices; set aside. Cook pasta as directed; drain and keep warm.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Add sausage and broccoli; cook, stirring frequently for 4-5 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Add red pepper flakes, cook and stir for one minute.

3. Gently toss together cooked pasta, sausage mixture, cheese and whipping cream in a large serving bowl.
