Maryland Style Crab Cakes

Serves 4-5 (depending on how big you make your crab cake... you can get 6 smaller ones)

Ingredients

  • 4 slices white bread, crusts removed completely
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise (I use Light mayo)
  • 4 teaspoons OLD BAY Seasoning, low sodium if you want (Do not use crab seasoning, it doesn't turn out the same as traditional MD style)
  • 4 teaspoons McCormick Parsley Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 pound lump crabmeat
  • 1 pound colossal lump crabmeat


Instructions

1. Mix bread, mayonnaise, OLD BAY, parsley, mustard and egg in large bowl until well blended.

2. Gently stir/fold in crabmeat. Shape into 4-5 large mounds. Do not pack crab mounds tightly.

3. Broil 10 minutes without turning. Sprinkle with additional OLD BAY, if desired.
