Egg Nog

Spiced rum egg nog serving 24 punch cups (4oz each)

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs separated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 qt vanilla ice cream (4 cups)
  • 1 pint milk (2 cups)
  • 1 cup liquor (Seagrams 7)
  • 1/4 cup rum
  • grated nutmeg

Steps

  1. Beat egg whites until fluffy
  2. Gradually beat in half sugar
  3. Beat egg yolks until pale yellow and fluffy
  4. Gradually beat in remaining sugar
  5. Fold whites into yolks
  6. Add ice cream, milk and liquors
  7. Stir well serve sprinkle with nutmeg

Note: Recipe may be doubled
