Ingredients
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 garlic gloves, finely chopped
- 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 pound beef/steak or chicken, cubed
Instructions
1. Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger in a small saucepan and bring to a low boil, whisking constantly.
2. Place in the refrigerator until completely cool.
3. Once cooled combine with the beef in a bowl and toss until beef is coated.
4. Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours or longer. (I've prepared the marinade and beef in a gallon size freezer bag and froze until ready to use for Fondue)
Cook with your favorite Fondue cooking style.
