Made from a combo of recipes
Ingredients
- 3 pounds of fresh tuna steak
- 5 limes, zest
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 ½ teaspoons wasabi powder
- 2 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 ½ tablespoons black pepper
- 6 scallions, chopped
- 1 large or 2 small jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 5 avocados
Directions
- Cut the tuna into small diced pieces and put into a bowl
- In a small bowl, combine lime zest and juice, wasabi, soy sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper.
- Pour over tuna.
- Mix in scallions and jalapeno
- Dice the avocado into very small pieces and slowly mixed into the tuna.
- Tuna needs to sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Can be served with crackers or tortilla chips.
Note: One recipe added a cup of olive oil but I like it better without it.
